2020 Teach@SST Lab School
Following the success of the inaugural Lab School@SST held in 2014 and the second edition in 2016, SST hosted the third edition of SST Lab School from 7 to 13 July 2018.
The fourth edition of Teach@SST Lab School was scheduled to take place on the 06 July 2020. In line with the Covid-19 precautionary measures to safeguard our community, Teach@SST Lab School will be postponed until further notice. We look forward to continuing sharing of best practices with educators and new opportunities for future collaboration between schools.
2018 Teach@SST Lab School
With the theme, ‘Transforming Learning, Impacting Society’, SST Lab School provided an immersive programme that will enable participants to envisage how their schools can embed ICT-enriched applied learning experiences in their curriculum. Participants can, in turn, be the agents of positive change by propagating a culture of innovation and collaboration to impact learning back in their schools.
SST Lab School enabled participants together with Apple Distinguished Educators, Google Certified Innovators and Senior Teachers from SST to:
• Leverage SST’s Applied Learning framework and technology to deepen students’ learning
• Attend workshops by industry partners and experienced STEM educators
• Co-design and facilitate lessons in SST
• Create opportunities for future collaboration between our schools and build a strong community of practice

2016 SST Lab School
The 2nd Lab School @ SST ended successfully, with
teachers learning a great deal especially for the ADMT experiential learning with Irfan.
2014 SST Lab School
With the start of the school term, SST welcomed participants to her campus at 1 Technology Drive.
They were hosted by our School Leaders who gave an introduction of the school's curriculum and ICT enabled learning. This was followed by the school tour to visit the various facilities such as the Science labs, ADMT studios and SST Inc.
Through classroom observations, participants had the chance to interact with educators and students from SST, who shared on their best practices, pedagogies in approaches to applied learning and also their learning journeys.
Learning can be made relevant and authentic by making connections between academic concepts and real-world issues and applications.
Participants experienced mobile learning and learned how SST made use of mobile trail apps to engage students.
Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2015 - 2022
The Tech Summit@SST Lab School is a forum for sharing knowledge and practices in harnessing technology for nurturing future-ready and responsible digital learners. It provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to meet and share their experiences in harnessing technology for education.
Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2022 focused on harnessing digital platforms for education, and aligning them with e-pedagogies to promote self-directed learning and collaborative learning among students, especially in a blended learning climate. Researchers and practitioners from schools met, inspired and shared their experiences in improving their e-pedagogies to appreciate how Technology makes Good Teaching Better.
The theme for the Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2022 was Transcending Digital Boundaries, Impacting Future LEarning.
Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2019
Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2019 was a one-day forum for sharing knowledge and practices in harnessing technology for education. It provided a platform for passionate educators and industry experts to share their expertise in using free online learning tools creatively and resourcefully to achieve quality teaching and learning. By optimally harnessing these tools, it complements the Student Learning Space and ensures quality education for every digital learner.
The theme for the Tech Summit@SST Lab School 2019 was Inspiring Every Digital Learner For The Real-World. Educational technology experts will be sharing at the Summit. The programme caters to all MOE schools using or are thinking of integrating the use of digital tools into their teaching curriculum.
SST Tech Summit Google For Education 2017
SST Tech Summit 2017 was a one-day forum for sharing knowledge and practices in harnessing technology for education.
SST Tech Summit 2017 focused on harnessing Google-related apps or platforms in support of Information Communication Technology (ICT) Masterplan 4, to nurture future-ready and responsible digital learners. It aims to provide a platform for industry experts such as Googlers, researchers and practitioners from schools to meet and share their experiences in using Google Apps for Education.
The theme for the SST Tech Summit 2017 is Quality Learning Experiences For Every Learner.
SST Tech Summit 2015
SST is proud to be the first school under the Ministry of Education to be supported by Google to organise the event.
SST Tech Summit 2015 was a one-day event that focused on harnessing Google-related apps or platforms for education, to promote self-directed learning and collaborative learning among students.
It served as a platform for researchers and practitioners from schools to meet and share their experiences in deploying Google technology for education.
